Current-model lifts include pothole protection, tilt sensors with alarms, descent and motion alarms, emergency lowering systems, and platform load sensing per ANSI A92.20. Older units we sell include the safety systems required for their model year.
Before each shift the operator must walk around the machine checking tires, fluids, battery charge, controls, guardrails, gate, alarms and decals, then function-test everything from the platform. It takes about ten minutes and is required by OSHA and ANSI.
Slab (electric) scissor lifts are designed for flat, hard surfaces. Wind-rated models may work outdoors on level pavement, but for dirt, gravel or uneven ground you need a rough-terrain scissor lift. Ask us and we'll match the machine to your jobsite.
